As the Yeşer application, we process your personal data as the data controller within the scope of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and equivalent privacy regulations (including GDPR principles).

- Your email address (for sign-in)

- Your gratitude journal entries
- Notification preferences
- Anonymous app usage statistics

- Service delivery and user experience

We take industry-standard security measures to protect your data:
- Encrypted data transmission (SSL/TLS)

- Access control and authorization

5. Your Rights
Under applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:
- Learn whether your personal data is being processed
- Request information about the data processed
- Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly
- Know the third parties to whom your data is transferred, in Turkey or abroad
- Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data
- Request deletion or destruction of your data
- Request that correction, deletion, or destruction be notified to third parties
- Object to outcomes resulting from automated analysis of your data
- Request that data also be deleted from third parties where legally applicable
6. Data Retention
Your personal data is retained for as long as the processing purpose requires and for as long as necessary to fulfill our legal obligations. When you delete your account, all of your personal data is permanently erased.
7. Cookies and Analytics
We collect anonymous analytics data within the app to improve the user experience. This data is processed in a way that cannot identify you personally.
8. Third-Party Services
Our application uses the following third-party services:
- Supabase — data storage and authentication
- Firebase — anonymous analytics
- Google OAuth — optional sign-in
9. Account Deletion and Data Erasure
You have the "right to be forgotten." Regarding account deletion:
- Deletion process: Settings > Account > Delete My Account
- Permanent deletion: This action is IRREVERSIBLE and all your data is permanently removed
- Data removed: Gratitude journal entries, account info, statistics, notification settings
- Timing: Account deletion is performed IMMEDIATELY
- Backup recommendation: We strongly recommend exporting your data before deleting
- Re-registration: You may register again with the same email, but past data will not return
10. Exercising Other Rights
To exercise your other rights:
- Data export: Settings > Data Export (JSON format)
- Notification settings: Editable anytime within the app
- Data correction: You can edit your profile and gratitude entries
- Support requests: Use in-app support channels to contact us
- Right to complain: You may file a complaint with the relevant Data Protection Authority
